The Story

A warm tale about friendship, food & finding joy together

Hamlet and his friends — all named after Shakespearean characters — take young readers on a warm, tasty journey through team spirit, cooking delights, and the joy of sharing with best buddies.

Gently illustrated in watercolour, the story moves at exactly the pace a young child needs. And for little ones building their vocabulary, a Tricky Words section is right there to help them out.

"The concept behind A.B. Lovely is to produce books that teach children important ideas and traditional values — wrapped in stories they actually want to hear."

  • 01

Gather your ingredients. Eggs, a pinch of salt, butter, and your favourite fillings. Preparation is half the adventure.

  • 02

Crack and whisk. Just like Hamlet — crack the eggs gently, whisk until smooth and a little frothy.

  • 03

Cook with patience. Low heat, gentle movement. Watch the edges set while the centre stays soft and golden.

  • 04

Share at the table. The most important step. Call your friends. Sit down together. Eat slowly and enjoy.
